I haven't had a hot shower in over a month...

Lest the title be misleading, let me re-emphasize the key word "hot". Have had plenty of cold showers in that time :) The concept of the cold shower was something I stumbled upon through Tim Ferriss, in relation to activation of brown fats. The purpose of this was to find additional ways to continue decreasing body fat, as my first step in becoming a badass gentleman. In my research, I ran across a number of health benefits that people have attributed to cold showers, ranging from immune system boosting, circulation increasing, and skin / hair beautifying.


To put this in context, this body hack is done in the pursuit of halving my body fat by December 2012. I will try whatever method works in order to accomplish this goal. In my mind, there is no badass gentleman that I can imagine who is not in peak physical condition, so the first fundamental step would be to reach that basic physical goal. From there, we can expand on the other badass gentleman goals.

Cold showers really aren't that bad. As are all things once you've gotten used to them. Continuing the march to 8% body fat...
